What poker rooms allow (November 2026)

Owning a tool is legal; using it at the table depends on each room’s rules, and they change. As a rule of thumb:

  • Solvers, trainers and ICM calculators are study tools: rooms forbid them during play. Use them between sessions.
  • Trackers and HUDs are allowed on many rooms, with limits: PokerStars restricts dynamic HUDs, Winamax forbids some dynamic Hand2Note features.
  • GGPoker has banned third-party software since 15 October 2026 (Hand2Note, PokerTracker 4, Holdem Manager 3 and Equilab are named) and forbids importing its hand histories into them.
  • Real-time assistance (software that tells you what to play during a hand) is cheating everywhere. We do not list any.
