Cash game: start with a recurring situation
Suppose you often hesitate after defending the big blind. Choose a stack depth, opposing position and pot type. Two short sessions on this topic alone can already show whether your plan covers the intended work.
If you change configurations every hand, note what varies: stack depth, poker-site rake, opening size or number of players. A wider library may suffice. Custom solving becomes useful when you need to change the assumptions themselves.
Tournaments: specify chipEV or ICM
Write your session objective: understand a defence at 25 blinds, revisit a decision near the bubble or compare two stack distributions at a final table. Check that the available solution represents the intended context, particularly payouts and stacks when ICM is involved.
A plan suitable for your early-tournament drills may be too limited for a series of ICM postflop reviews. Identify that limit in your actual programme. An “ICM” label does not guarantee that every imaginable custom calculation is included.
Before paying: a week to verify your needs

- 2. Complete two sessions. Record the configurations found, limits encountered and what you understood. If the grid is still hard to read, revisit the fundamentals first. Understand combos, equity and ranges

Monthly, annual and legacy subscriptions: what to check
For an initial study period, monthly billing lets you reassess your usage sooner. Compare an annual plan using its total cost and the number of months you genuinely expect to study. The displayed discount is useful only if the commitment matches your routine.
The official help centre states that subscriptions renew at each billing date. Disabling renewal leaves access active until the end of the paid period; downgrading takes effect at the following renewal.
Legacy offers may retain different entitlements. Ultra is notably presented with Early Bird pricing tied to the launch of preflop ICM solving. Check your account terms and renewal price: an old screenshot or another subscriber’s account does not necessarily describe the offer available to you.
