01

A workshop for your postflop questions

Build your spot

Choose the ranges, board, stacks and actions to study. You control the scenario.

Compare lines

Browse the decisions and see how strategy changes with the cards and previous actions.

Learn by playing

Open your solutions in training mode to move from observing decisions to making them.

GTO+ is most useful when you have a precise question: why does this range bet small on a dry flop? Which hands continue against a raise? What changes on a connected turn? Return to the same scenario and vary one parameter at a time.

02

A good analysis starts before the solve

Take a hand from your session and reconstruct the start of the flop. Give the ranges some thought: they represent all the hands each player can hold after the preflop action.

The context
Both players’ positions, the preflop action and the game format. A big blind defence against the button has different ranges from a 3-bet pot.
The pot and stacks
Enter the money already in the pot and the remaining stacks at the start of the analysis. Their ratio determines the role of large bets and shoves.
The two ranges
Start with ranges that fit the scenario. Keep a copy of your assumptions so you can later identify what changes the solution.
Available actions
Select the bet sizes to compare, then the responses and options on later streets. A simple first tree is easier to read.
03

The tree defines the choices available to players

A decision tree maps the actions allowed in your study. Every bet opens up responses, followed by further decisions on later cards. GTO+ lets you adjust those branches and use several bet sizes.

Bet 75% of the pot

These sizes were chosen for the example. The solve will determine how each range distributes its hands across the actions. Turn and river branches extend this opening section.

Start with the bet sizes that answer your question. Adding a size can be instructive, but adding one at every decision quickly enlarges the tree. Understand a simple structure first, then expand it to compare.

04

Run the solve, then read what matters

Convergence, in plain language

The solver refines strategies as it calculates. The accuracy indicator tracks that process within the tree you built. Let it reach your chosen level before drawing conclusions from small differences between two actions.

Read by hand category

Start with the broad patterns: which strong hands bet, which draws accompany them, and which hands prefer checking? Then examine surprising combos and how they behave on different turns.

A comparison that teaches you something

Keep the board and tree unchanged, then adjust a starting range. Watch how the betting and defending hands change. You connect the strategy to a specific assumption instead of memorising an isolated frequency.

05

From a solution to your next practice session

Play against your solutions

“Play against the solution” lets you practise on a tree or database of solutions. Decide before looking at the strategy, then return to the tree when a choice surprises you. A short series on one theme shows what you already understand and what needs another look.

Explore ranges with FlopzillaPro

During practice, GTO+ can send ranges to FlopzillaPro. This connection is particularly helpful for breaking down the hands in a branch: pairs, draws, made hands and equity against the opposing range. GTO+ works on its own; FlopzillaPro offers another view of the spot.

The publisher lists 16 GB of RAM and a four-core processor as its reference configuration. Memory mainly determines the size of tree you can load; the processor affects solving time.

For your first analyses, a compact tree helps you work faster and keep the decisions easy to read.
