01

What GTO Wizard Free includes

The Free plan is a permanent tier, not a trial: the app lists it as “Forever, $0/mo”. It covers both No-Limit Hold’em formats, cash games and tournaments, plus a separate free tier for Pot-Limit Omaha.

No-Limit Hold’em (cash games and tournaments)

  • 100 preflop spots a day
  • 1 postflop spot a day (heads-up, 100bb, Single Size solution)
  • 10 hands a day in the Trainer, across all practice modes
  • 10 hands a month in the hand-history Analyzer
  • The solutions of the WSOP 2022 Main Event final table

Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4)

  • Basic preflop library for cash games and tournaments
  • 1 postflop solution a day
  • 10 Trainer hands a day

Range comparison and the mobile version are included too. These are the limits shown in the app; GTO Wizard can change them at any time.

02

What the Free plan does not include

The Free plan is built for a short daily session. These are the walls you hit first:

  • One postflop spot a day: enough to study one flop properly, not to work through a whole line or a set of boards.
  • No range copying, no blockers score and no aggregated flop or turn reports.
  • No full ICM and PKO preflop library for tournaments: it comes with Premium (70,000+ solutions).
  • No AI solver and no nodelocking: you cannot build your own spots before Elite.
  • No study plans or weekly coachings: they start with Starter.

A free routine that works: one preflop spot from your last session, the day’s postflop spot on the board you misplayed, then your 10 Trainer hands on that same spot.

FAQ

Is GTO Wizard free?

Yes. GTO Wizard has a permanent Free plan: 100 preflop spots and 1 postflop spot a day, 10 Trainer hands a day and 10 analysed hands a month. The full libraries, the AI solver and unlimited training are paid.

Does GTO Wizard have a free trial?

Not a time-limited trial: the Free plan itself has no end date. Paid plans come with a 7-day refund guarantee, so you can try Starter or Premium and ask for a refund within 7 days.

How much does GTO Wizard cost after the free plan?

Starter costs $39 a month billed yearly or $49 month to month, Premium $79 or $99, Elite $139 or $169, Ultra $289 or $359.

See every plan and price
Does the free plan cover tournaments and PLO?

Yes. The 100 preflop spots a day work in cash games and tournaments, and the Free plan includes the WSOP 2022 Main Event final table solutions. PLO4 has its own free tier: a basic preflop library, 1 postflop solution and 10 Trainer hands a day.

Is the free plan enough to improve?

For a beginner or a recreational player, yes: preflop ranges plus one well-studied postflop spot a day is a solid routine. It becomes too tight when you want to review several hands per session or study full lines.

Can I use GTO Wizard during a game?

No. GTO Wizard is a study tool for between sessions. Using it while you play counts as real-time assistance, which GTO Wizard’s terms and poker sites forbid.

Are there free alternatives to GTO Wizard?

Yes, with other trade-offs: desktop solvers you run yourself, trainers with a free tier, or an AI coach with a free trial. We compare them in a separate guide.
