What the GTO Wizard Free plan includes
The Free plan is a free tier, not a time-limited trial. It is enough to see how the solutions, the Trainer and the Analyzer work before paying anything.
- Up to 100 preflop solutions a day
- 1 postflop spot a day (Single Size solutions)
- 10 hands a day in Practice mode (the Trainer)
- 5 analysed hands a month in the hand-history Analyzer
What you do not get: unlimited postflop spots, custom solving and nodelocking. If you study more than one or two spots a session, you will hit the daily limits quickly; that is the point where Starter starts to make sense.
Create the free account through our link: if you upgrade later, your first Starter, Premium or Elite payment should show the 10% discount at checkout.
Which GTO Wizard plan should you choose?
Pick the format you play most, then the cheapest plan that covers the work you will actually do every week.
You are just starting with solvers
Free, then Starter
Learn to read preflop ranges and a few postflop spots for free. Move to Starter when the daily limits get in the way: it unlocks Single Size postflop solutions across its included library, weekly coaching and 100 hand-history analyses a month.
You play cash games regularly
Premium Cash
The full cash, ante and straddle library with unlimited heads-up postflop spots, in Single Size and multi-size. The usual choice for regular cash players.
You play MTTs, Spin & Gos or sit-and-gos
Premium Tournament
The full MTT, ICM, PKO, Spin & Go and heads-up SnG library, unlimited heads-up chipEV postflop spots and 1 ICM postflop spot a day.
You want to build your own spots
Elite
Custom heads-up solving, nodelocking and exploitable profiles, plus 3-way and ICM postflop Single Size solutions.
You study multiway pots in depth
Ultra
Everything in Elite plus custom multiway preflop solving for up to 9 players and custom 3-way postflop solving. The partner discount does not apply to Ultra.
Playing both cash games and tournaments? Since March 2026, Cash includes antes and straddles and Tournament includes MTT, Spin & Go and heads-up SnG, but Cash and Tournament are still bought separately. Start with the format you play most rather than paying twice.
Monthly or annual billing?
The annual plan is paid upfront and works out 18 to 20% cheaper. Over a year, the difference is:
| Plan | 12 × monthly | Annual plan | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $588 | $468 | $120 |
| Premium | $1,188 | $948 | $240 |
| Elite | $2,028 | $1,668 | $360 |
| Ultra | $4,308 | $3,468 | $840 |
Start monthly if you are not sure you will study every week: you can switch to annual once the habit is there. Upgrades are prorated, and a downgrade takes effect at the next renewal.
Is GTO Wizard worth the money?
A subscription pays for itself when it adds enough to your win rate. The calculator below shows the improvement you would need just to cover its cost. It is a break-even point, not a promise: a solver only helps if you study with it.
- Cash games: bb/100 needed = monthly cost ÷ (hands per month ÷ 100 × big blind)
- Tournaments: ROI points needed = monthly cost ÷ (tournaments per month × average buy-in) × 100
Your break-even point

Example: 20,000 hands a month with annual billing
| Stake | Starter ($39/month) | Premium ($79/month) |
|---|---|---|
| NL10 | 1.95 bb/100 | 3.95 bb/100 |
| NL25 | 0.78 bb/100 | 1.58 bb/100 |
| NL50 | 0.39 bb/100 | 0.79 bb/100 |
| NL100 | 0.20 bb/100 | 0.40 bb/100 |
When the figure is well under 1 bb/100, the subscription costs little next to your volume. At micro stakes with low volume it climbs fast: there, the Free plan is usually the better deal.

GTO Wizard pricing FAQ
Is GTO Wizard free?
Yes, there is a Free plan (not a time-limited trial): up to 100 preflop solutions a day, 1 postflop spot a day, 10 Trainer hands a day and 5 analysed hands a month. Paid plans raise or remove those limits, depending on the tier.
How much is GTO Wizard per month?
Starter $49, Premium $99, Elite $169, Ultra $359 with monthly billing. Billed yearly, that is $39, $79, $139, $289 a month.
Is there a GTO Wizard discount code?
No code is needed: create your account through our link and you get 10% off your first Starter, Premium or Elite plan, monthly or annual. It does not apply to Ultra or to existing accounts.
Do I need two subscriptions for cash games and tournaments?
Each subscription covers one format: Cash (including antes and straddles) or Tournament (MTT, ICM, PKO, Spin & Go and heads-up SnG). Since March 2026 you no longer need several subscriptions within a format, but Cash and Tournament are still bought separately, so start with the one you play most.
Can I get a refund on GTO Wizard?
Yes. GTO Wizard guarantees a refund for any reason within 7 days of purchase, once per purchase history. Crypto payments cannot be refunded.
Is GTO Wizard worth it for a beginner?
Start with the Free plan. A paid plan is worth it once you study several spots a week; before that, the daily limits of the Free plan are rarely what holds you back.
Our full GTO Wizard reviewAre there cheaper alternatives?
Yes: desktop solvers sold as one-off licences, and PokerSnowie, a yearly AI coach. They work differently from GTO Wizard.
