PokerSnowie Alternatives (2026): What to Use Instead, and When to Stay
PokerSnowie lets you play No-Limit Hold’em hands against a neural-network AI and flags your mistakes. It has not changed much since PokerSnowie 4 came out in 2022, though: no PLO, no ICM, four bet sizes and a mobile app last updated in 2018. If one of those limits is why you are looking, here are the realistic alternatives, with prices, platforms, free options and how you actually practise.
Short answer
The best PokerSnowie alternative depends on what you miss:

Why players look for a PokerSnowie alternative
PokerSnowie is still a strong sparring partner for No-Limit Hold’em. These are the limits we checked on its own site on 1 November 2026:
- No-Limit Hold’em only: no Pot-Limit Omaha or other variants.
- Tournament hands can be imported, but PokerSnowie says it “cannot evaluate on prize distribution”: no ICM, so bubble and final-table spots are judged in chips.
- Four bet sizes: 25%, 50%, 100% and 200% of the pot. Modern solvers let you study other sizes.
- Hand-history import needs English-language histories from a supported site; GGPoker is not on the supported list.
- The iPhone/iPad app was last updated in July 2018 and covers training only; there is no Android app on the official downloads page and no web version.
- Development is slow: the last announced release was PokerSnowie 4 for Windows in May 2022, even though the installers were refreshed in October 2026.
- The first-year price ($199.90) is a first-purchase discount; renewals are billed at the standard rate.

GTO Wizard: play hands against solver strategies, then study the spot
Free plan · Starter $49/month or $39/month billed yearly · Premium $99 ($79) · Elite $169 ($139)
GTO Wizard is the most direct upgrade from PokerSnowie. Its Trainer lets you practise preflop to river against the solution, drill a single street or decision, and multitable. Afterwards, you open the same spot in the solution library and see how the solution plays every hand of the range. It runs in any browser, including on Android phones.
Strengths
- Free plan with no time limit: up to 100 preflop solutions, 1 postflop spot and 10 Trainer hands a day, plus 5 analysed hands a month.
- Practise full hands, single streets or specific decisions, with stats that show where you lose EV.
- Cash game and tournament libraries (sold as separate plans); PLO is available as a separate subscription.
- Create your account through our link and get 10% off your first Starter, Premium or Elite plan.
Limits
- More expensive than PokerSnowie once you pay: Starter is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly.
- Pre-solved spots only until Elite: custom solving starts at $169 a month ($139 billed yearly).
- Studying ranges takes more effort than simply playing hands against an AI.
Partner offer: create your free GTO Wizard account through our link and get 10% off your first Starter, Premium or Elite plan, monthly or annual. It does not apply to Ultra or to existing accounts; check the final price at checkout.

When PokerSnowie is still the right choice
$29.90/month, or $199.90 for the first year (about $16.66/month, 44% less), excl. VAT · renewal at the standard rate
Switching is not always worth it. If you play No-Limit Hold’em cash games and simply want to play hands against a strong opponent and get feedback, PokerSnowie still does that job well, for about $16.66 a month in the first year when you pay annually (excl. VAT).
Strengths
- Play complete hands against an AI, with advice on each decision while you train.
- Import your own hands (PokerStars, Winamax, 888, iPoker, WPN and other supported sites) and get an error rate and a list of blunders.
- Scenario “what if” tool to replay a decision with another action.
- 10-day free trial.
Limits
- No PLO, no ICM, four bet sizes; the mobile app is basic and dated.
- The annual discount covers the first purchase only; renewals are billed at the standard rate, and VAT is added in EU countries.
PokerSnowie runs on Windows and Mac; the iPhone/iPad app covers training only. No Android app on the official downloads page and no web version.

Advanced Poker Training: simulated opponents, PLO and tournaments
Free account · paid plan prices are shown after sign-up
APT shares PokerSnowie’s play-first approach, with a different philosophy: instead of one balanced AI, it simulates the range of player types you meet at real tables. It runs in the browser and, according to APT, covers cash games, Sit & Gos and multi-table tournaments (including bubble and ICM spots) and Pot-Limit Omaha.
Strengths
- Free account, no credit card required (according to APT).
- Runs in any browser on PC or Mac, and on tablets.
- According to APT, it covers formats PokerSnowie does not: PLO and tournament play with ICM pressure.
Limits
- Paid prices are not published before you sign up, so check them before committing.
- Opponents are simulations of human types, not solver strategies: useful for exploitative practice, less so for studying GTO.
- Full hand volume, all advisors and advanced reports need a paid plan.

Hand2Note: find leaks in your own hands (not a trainer)
Learner $15.99/month or Pro $39/month, billed yearly · code H2NKFUG: 10% off your first purchase
If what you liked in PokerSnowie was importing your sessions and seeing your mistakes, Hand2Note does that at scale. It is a tracker: it stores the hands you play and lets you filter reports, after your sessions, to find the spots where you lose money. It will not tell you the solver play, but it shows where to look.
Strengths
- Reports and filters to find leaks across thousands of hands.
- Hold’em, Omaha, PLO5 and PLO6.
- 14-day free trial, then 10% off your first purchase with code H2NKFUG.
- Windows and macOS.
Limits
- Not a training tool: there is no AI opponent and no solver output.
- Room rules: GGPoker requires trackers to be fully closed before its client launches (since 15 October 2026); Winamax bans some dynamic Hand2Note features; PokerStars switches off dynamic HUDs.
- Sold as a yearly subscription.
Code H2NKFUG: 10% off your first Hand2Note purchase, after a 14-day free trial. Enter it at checkout.

- Windows only.
- Heads-up postflop only; you build every spot yourself.

PokerSnowie alternatives: FAQ
What is the best alternative to PokerSnowie?
For most players, GTO Wizard. Its Trainer lets you play hands from preflop to river against solver strategies, and you can then study the same spot in its library. It has a Free plan with 10 Trainer hands a day, and Starter costs $49 a month ($39 billed yearly). If you prefer practising against realistic player types, or play PLO, try Advanced Poker Training.
GTO Wizard vs PokerSnowie: full comparisonIs there a free alternative to PokerSnowie?
Yes. GTO Wizard has a Free plan with no time limit (up to 100 preflop solutions, 1 postflop spot and 10 Trainer hands a day), and APT offers a free account without a credit card. PioSOLVER has a free version limited to example flops. PokerSnowie itself only offers a 10-day free trial.
Is PokerSnowie still updated in 2026?
Slowly. The Windows and Mac installers on pokersnowie.com were refreshed in October 2026, but the last announced release was PokerSnowie 4 for Windows in May 2022, and the iPhone app was last updated in July 2018. The AI still covers No-Limit Hold’em only.
How much does PokerSnowie cost in 2026?
$29.90 a month, or $16.66 a month billed annually ($199.90 for the first year, 44% less than paying monthly), excluding VAT, which applies only in the EU. The annual discount applies to the first purchase; renewals are billed at the standard rate. There is a 10-day free trial.
Our PokerSnowie reviewIs there a PokerSnowie alternative for PLO or tournaments?
Yes. PokerSnowie only plays No-Limit Hold’em and does not take prize distribution (ICM) into account. GTO Wizard sells PLO and tournament plans separately; APT says it covers Omaha, Sit & Gos and MTTs; ICMIZER specialises in tournament push/fold.
Can PokerSnowie analyse GGPoker hands?
GGPoker is not on PokerSnowie’s list of supported sites (checked 1 November 2026), and hand histories must be in English. PokerSnowie asks users to send samples to its support if a format does not import.
Is there a PokerSnowie app for Android?
Not on PokerSnowie’s official downloads page, which lists Windows, Mac and the iPhone app. On Android, GTO Wizard and APT both run in a mobile browser.
Still deciding?
Start free on both sides: GTO Wizard’s Free plan to see whether solver-based practice suits you, and PokerSnowie’s 10-day trial if you would rather keep playing against an AI. Keep the one you open again the next day.
